The Favourites – February 2015

February Favourites 2015

Wow, February has certainly flown by.  I’ve been focused mainly on my fitness and nutrition.  I have also enjoyed a few things which have made it on to my February Favourites!

February Favourites 2015

The TV Show

I have loved, loved, loved the latest series of Broadchurch.  I was late to the party when it came to series 1 but series 2 I watched each week.  In fact is was a torture having to wait 7 days for the next episode.  I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t watched it yet. Broadchurch is a British Drama and the latest series was based around 2 crime plot lines – It was gripping, shocking and just brilliant!

The Oscars

I was pretty much obsessed for 24 hours when the Oscars were on.  I stayed up to watch all the action from the Red Carpet and in the morning spent far too long searching Google for all the winners.  I enjoy all the fashion and checking out the make up looks.  As I mentioned last month I just love awards season and I am sad it’s over.

The Energy Boosters

For some reason in February I have struggled to get out of bed most mornings.  I have had a few too many late nights and the mornings are still dark so I guess that can have something to do with it.  As a non-coffee or tea drinker and someone who doesn’t have much fizzy pop there are limited ways I can get my energy levels up.  I have been loving Arbonne’s Fizz Sticks they are perfect to give me a morning boost and sometimes I take them before the gym.  You add them to a glass of water.  They make a huge difference to my energy levels and taste so good!

The Nails

With February focused on Valentine’s Day I wrote a post all about the perfect pink nail colour.  I still think this time of year is a struggle to get the perfect colour, fingers crossed March will feel more spring like and I can add some pastels to my life.

The Book

It’s great to see so much success in the YouTube and Blogging communities and one of my faves has to be Tanya Burr.  I purchased her book Love, Tanya and although I haven’t read it thoroughly yet I was drawn straight away to the recipe section.  Already I have made her cookies and brownies and they were delicious!
