A Christmas Gift Guide

A Christmas Gift Guide

It’s the time of year again when you need to start buying your presents as Christmas will soon be here.  It’s always good to get some gift ideas and inspiration.

A Christmas Gift Guide

Here is my gift guide (and some of them are certainly on my wish list too) specifically aimed at females who you are buying for this year!

For The Busy Girl

I saw over on the fantastic ViviannaDoesMakeup blog she mentioned the Dailygreatness journal and this was something I just had to check out.  Their journals look like a great way to keep organised, stay focused and be positive every day.  I also love the look of the fitness one – Especially if you have a workout lover on your list.  It is however the the everyday book which is certainly on my wish list and a perfect present for anyone who has a hectic schedule!

For the Makeup Lover

It’s always great to receive new makeup at Christmas time.  This year Arbonne have certainly delivered on their festive line.  One of my favourite eye shadows at the moment is Arbonne’s Sugar Plum Eye Shadow Pallette (Item #5464). With a sparkly white, gold, purple and darker shade you can create the perfect smokey eye for the party season and beyond!  It is pictured below with It’s A Long Story Purple Mascara which finishes the look perfectly!

For the Cozy Night In

Comfy pyjamas were featured on last years wish list and are back again this year!  There is nothing better than spending an evening in front of the fire wearing some cute and cozy PJ’s.  I think they are a great gift for most people, as with constant wear and washing, pyjamas can easily get tatty.  There are so many places to get some nice PJ’s from, these Penguin ones look cute and cozy all in one!

For the Exercise Fan

For someone like me who enjoys exercising regularly, gym clothes are always a favourite.  It’s not something you often want to buy for yourself and I think if you buy anything which is part of someones regular hobby it really makes them feel like you have thought about their present.  These also made it onto last years list so you really can’t go wrong with some nice gym clothes – There are so many great brands out there.  Recently I got some new Adidas clothing which I really like!

For the Homeowner

For someone who owns their own house flowers or a Christmas plant are a nice gift idea.  They brighten up the winter evenings and smell lovely throughout the home.  It’s a great idea to support a local florist for a special gift.

For the Bling

They say a girl loves diamonds but if they are not in your budget you can still treat any female in your life to some jewellery!  I went to a Pandora event recently and they had some lovely rings and earrings, you can click here to see some of my favourites from the night.  I also met Jamie Redknapp at the event and he was lovely, maybe I could add Jamie to my wish list?!

So this just happened….. #pandorawishes

For the Pamper Night

For the person in your life who loves to pamper themselves Arbonne’s Star of Wonder Fig Blossom Gift Set (Item #5459) is a great gift idea.  It smells divine and is just lovely for your Christmas bath and pamper evening!  It feels like a real piece of luxury has arrived in the bathroom.

For the TV Marathoner

A box set is a great gift for those who love some good TV.  Programs I have loved this year and can really recommend are – Homeland, The Big Bang Theory and True Detective.  They are all very different so it depends on the taste of who you are purchasing for but I have to say I love them all!

For the Chef

A nice cookbook is a great idea for anyone who loves to cook and try new recipes.  I have had my eye on Jamie’s Comfort Food for a while as I love his America cookbook and in winter it’s nice to have a bit of comfort food every now and again!

For the Top Marks

My final recommendation for a gift is a real treat – Give someone the present of a weekend away or a trip to see their favourite musical or band.  These kind of gifts are so much fun as you then have the excitement of something enjoyable happening after Christmas and it’s always nice to have an event to look forward to!

So those are a few ideas which may help you with your Christmas shopping!  What would you love to receive for Christmas?  Comment below!
